EDITIONS & GENERATIVE ART
On Jan 11 Rupture launched Ordinal collection Persona (1/1/210). It has seen 5 BTC volume since the launch and current floor is at 0.075 BTC. In a thread Rupture wrote:
Bitcoin’s censorship resistance, its true decentralization and the fact that my art would actually stored on chain in an immutable way got me very excited about this opportunity. My usual drawings were too detailed given the technical limitations of Ordinals, so I had to reinvent my approach. I set out to create my first collection of natively digital art - PERSONA was born.
Terraforms 2.0 Upgrade with Antenna went live this week. Antenna allows new artwork programs to flow over the parcels in the coming years.
XCOPY released another 2 editions on DAMAGE CONTROL contract through burn to redeems, with Max Pains being burnt for SIDEWAYZ (edition of 420) and BANG_BANG (edition of 250). In the same week, No Favour (cold) (2019, Edition of 25) was collected for 17 ETH.
Golan Levin released Cytographia through Art Blocks Curated. Cytographia is a collection of generative illustrations from an imaginary book about imaginary organisms. The artwork depicts speculative cell structures whose appearances and movements arise emergently and in response to real-time user interactions.
Fidenza #819 was collected for 65 ETH, #262 for 59.25 ETH.
